@DavidCorn my biggest question about George Santos isn’t about George Santos.

It’s asking how many other representatives are just as bad, but haven’t been investigated.

We seriously need, if nothing else, financial transparency at all levels of government. It’s seriously insane that someone can just mysteriously become a millionaire just before they run for office, and nobody even knows it, let alone why.

And if government isn’t going to do it (which seems likely), then how about crowd funding an org whose sole job is to do these investigations? Because it’s clear the press is not up to the task.

And *before* the elections maybe next time?
