So George Santos was funded by a Russian oligarch and then Santos calls the Ukrainian government a “totalitarian regime.”
I think it is time to end dark money contributions because there are now too many Republicans working on behalf of other governments.
@SpockResists the greed and Corruption are pervasive, it only happens because we allow it
@SpockResists It seems nearly all of them have more allegiance to Russia than to the United States.
@Sameagle @SpockResists
🤨👽 — Indeed so — They’re Nazi sympathizers
@SpockResists He is/was? Odd: the only time I heard about Santos, is when republicans claim democrats do something only because Santos pays them. Doesn't sound like a very democratic force if your backer is an oligarch.
@aeveltstra @SpockResists you're thinking of George Soros, George Santos is a newly elected republican politician.
@groo79 @SpockResists Ah, that explains it. My bad. Thank you!
Santos is a biggly 🤥🤥👖👖👖on🔥🔥🔥
@groo79 @aeveltstra @SpockResists
@aeveltstra @SpockResists are you confusing Santos with someone else?
@aeveltstra You’re thinking of Soros. :)
Republican George Devolder-Santos Got Cash From Andrew Intrater Cousin of Russian Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg

Andrew Intrater, money manager to Russian Viktor Vekselberg, gave $56,100 to committees tied to Rep.-elect George Devolder-Santos, who called Ukraine “totalitarian.”

The Daily Beast
@lillyfinch @Zesti @aeveltstra this is super disturbing 😩
@Agora @Zesti @aeveltstra well so many republicans have ties to Russia. I have never gotten past the republicans that visited Moscow on July 4th 2017….no one has ever followed up on that….and on the 4th no less. I wonder also if Santo is even American…haven’t seen a thing yet.

@lillyfinch Based on his comment, it seeemd like @aeveltstra was thinking of George Soros, not George Santos.
@Zesti @aeveltstra
Hmm 🤨👽 — Tell me what I’m thinking 💭 and if you’re correct ✅ you win a trip to Vulcan 🖖
@aeveltstra That’s George Soros. Santos is a newly-elected Republican.
@SpockResists I was reading about that this morning. The 1950s Republicans should be rolling over in their graves that their party is so pro-Russia now.
@SpockResists
First step, end Citizens United... that ruling has nothing to do with citizens.
@pamleo65 @SpockResists
Right, and I’m sure you know that “Citizens United” stands for the Citizens United Foundation, a conservative 501(c)3 which enjoys tax exempt status and whose wealthy donors can write off their donations.
501(c)3’s are supposed to provide a “public good” and are barred from influencing political policy which this group, through its lawsuit, has done in spades. IRS needs to do its job.
@pamleo65 @SpockResists
🤨👽 Only way that’s going to happen is if the Supreme court is expanded by 4 or so
@pamleo65 @SpockResists how? Not with the filibuster and a Russian-bought Supreme Court in place!

@SpockResists
Um, there are too many Republicans working on behalf of Putin.

https://wp.me/p7vabV-6cD

MEME: Putin has bought the Republican Party

The Psy of Life
@SpockResists Unfortunately the GOP like people who will do anything for money, even if it’s against their own government.
@SpockResists I second the motion there’s an infestation of spies in republican Congress doesn’t espionage provide any legal avenues
@SpockResists I remember when America dealt with its traitors rather than let them off because they're GOP
Admittedly, it was a long while ago but...
@Lazarou @SpockResists
That must have been further back than 1865, because the job wasn't finished. In fact, that failure is DIRECTLY related to the foolishness we're dealing with right now.
@BenCisco @SpockResists so I understand, no 'Nuremberg', no 'Truth and Reconciliation', it's just been left to fester for generations

@Lazarou @SpockResists

Nuremberg dealt with foreign war crimes. Truth and Reconciliation was South Africa. The statement said "... America dealt with its traitors."

Job's not done.

@SpockResists Is his name even George Santos? 😂😂
@SpockResists Didn't you wrote just two days ago you will abstain politics. 🤔
But i agree, USA is really more unstable democracy than one would like to acknowledge. Terrifieing. Alone the fact that still so many suport Trump after January 6th where i tried to overthrow an elected government. And he still can walk free in this country.
@SpockResists Going to be hard to do that with an illegitimate SCOTUS
@SpockResists who are the people that are ok with this?
@SpockResists Where did you find this information?
@SpockResists If only there was a law that made this illegal.
@SpockResists Where did you find this information?

@TQdemocrat @SpockResists

this is one source of "santos" claiming to have gone to Russia many times.

Laura Rozen on Twitter

“did santos explain who was suddenly pouring money into his fake family company?”

Twitter
@tdwllms1 @SpockResists This is a claim by him not evidence found out about him. I am sure he got his money illegally, I am interested in evidence.
@TQdemocrat @SpockResists
There is plenty of other facts on his cash infusions in the thread... it'll all come out... just needs a minute, this is all pretty fresh due to the lack of oppo research on santos... won't stop him from being sworn in, but it could get him indicted down the road... nothing about the man appears to be true. Truly though, what a HUGE miss by his dem opponent for not flushing this all out.
@tdwllms1 @SpockResists I have faith in NY attorney general James.

@SpockResists @TQdemocrat

me too... She is a major badass.

@tdwllms1 @SpockResists It is not the oppositions candidates job to do opps research on an opponent. If you have enough money in your campaign bank account you might do that. This is the responsibility of the party that endorses you to vet you.

@TQdemocrat @SpockResists

It’s partly the campaigns job.. and agree it’s also the parties job…
They all failed spectacularly..

@tdwllms1 @SpockResists You are a hopeful guy. By time it is all revealed he will be totally entrenched into the GOP.
@TQdemocrat maybe, maybe not… but it’s certainly heating up for him.. but I will say Kevin wants him to vote for him… so he’s not going anywhere quick. @SpockResists

@SpockResists

He called democrats totalitarians as well... so, his lack of an education appears to be shinning through....

@SpockResists Agreed. I mean, at what point do we not call a spade a spade... these people are traitors. Bought and paid for from a foreign power. They damage the collective cohesion of any given country. Citizens start to believe them because they go against the grain and it's somehow become "edgy" to be against the grain.
@SpockResists
He’s going to get seated, but there’s no way Santos can get any kind of security clearance.
@dhstokyo If anything, Kevin McCarthy needs votes to lock down the speakership. I can't anything happening to this ne'er do well until then.
@SpockResists I only hope the right peoples are paying attention.
@SpockResists
The Manchurian candidates are multiplying
@SpockResists
There are too many politicians working on behalf of their donors, in direct opposition to the interests of their constituents. Did I say "too many?" Perhaps I should have said "most."
