@fraying oh, I like this very much. It seems to me a lot of folks will simply disengage the moment they see a hint of mathematics.

The animated demonstrations and simulations in this article really help clarify a lot of concepts, in a way that seems like it might be more accessible to math-phobes

Monopoly does a nice job of teaching this too but most kids take away the wrong lesson...
