Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust critical incident declared :: Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

Due to the significant ongoing pressure on local NHS services, a critical incident has been declared across Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

There is at least one large acute trusts where medical consultants are arguing for a critical incident to be declared...but management are so far reluctant despite 100 odd patients waiting for a bed in its A&E
๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: @[email protected] has declared a critical incident with a 24 hour A&E wait at Pilgrim Hospital, in Boston, and a 35 hour wait at Lincoln County A&E.
The trust is planning to re-deploy some staff to struggling areas and has brought back mask wearing. All sounds very grim:
๐Ÿšจ North West Ambulance Service @[email protected] declared a critical incident today I understand. That's 3 ambulance services in critical incidents today at least, plus a number of NHS trusts.
