BarbaraI love all the photos of pet dogs and cats. We always had one of each until WE got too old to rescue a new cat when the last one died and his dog pal was grief—stricken. Just the dog and us for a few more years. Now she’s gone. We can’t bear another loss or the tasks of caring for an aging pet. I love your photos!
davey@BarbaraGeffen Did you consider fostering? I know a number of people who serve as loving transition caretakers for rescued pets en route to permanent adoption.
@davey We would absolutely fail at fostering. Once a pet entered our home, we’d love it and and the dear creature would forever be ours.
