The political arguments used against Trump in 2018 were used by the same democrats in support of Clinton in 1998. Politicians argue for A when they need it and against A when they don’t. In the middle are dumbfuck voters who can’t think at all and can’t tell logic from bullshit.

I wonder too, maybe it was always this messed up, but we are just more aware now, because of all these new media streams.
@KarenStrickholm @mollyjongfast I think to some extent there always was a chronic amount of ignorance amongst us, but I just don’t see where this stupidity coming from sub-educated politicians such as MTG or Boebert originated? We do have reliable public schools across the country. Is it really that bad in North Georgia or the rural areas of Colorado???
@RichardET @mollyjongfast I think it's more the effect of self-reinforcing information silos. We are all in media echo chambers to some degree, but for a subgroup, the fully embrace an alternate constructed reality.
