nic🤓🍋That’s the most simultaneous laughing and ugly crying I’ve done in a while. I waited so long to watch it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it for a while. Glad I was able to give it my full attention.
I especially loved the Wong Kar-wai-inspired martial arts star universe, because it weirdly just took me back to how awestruck I was the first time I saw 2046.
I have so much to say about this movie, but I need to sleep on it some more. It’s cathartic, I’m emotionally exhausted.
Evelyn whispering “gay” when first meeting Jujo was exactly how my mom used to whisper “gay” when gossiping about the kuyas and ates.
