Just finished watching #Uncharted on #AmazonPrime.

What a great romp. An #IndianaJones of our time, but done properly (instead of the recent films in that franchise).

Highly recommended.

While I'm here, I might as well make a thread of these #StreamingRecommendation ...

I mainlined You, Me, and the Apocalypse on #TVNZPlus yesterday. It was so utterly amazing ❤️

Additionally, on #NetflixAU, we watched #Irreverant just before Xmas. Again, a solid #StreamingRecommendation

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but #SheHulk (#SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw) on #DisneyPlus is really very good indeed. Really really, REALLY enjoyed it. Very high #StreamingRecommendation

Really enjoyed #Outsiders on #ThreeNowTV.

If you like TaskMaster, and David Mitchell, you're in for a treat. Mainlined the entire season in pretty much day.

Outsiders | COMEDY | ThreeNow

With civilisation crumbling all around us, what better time for David Mitchell to challenge a returning cast of three pairs of comedians to prove they've got the mettle and skills to thrive in the great outdoors.

Midway through watching #JuryDuty on #AmazonPrime, and I have to say it's already a solid #StreamingRecommendation

A fly on the wall documentary about a criminal case in the US, where everyone in the documentary is an actor, except one person.

Really enjoyed watching #Extraordinary on #DisneyPlus.

Very amusing take on the "people got super powers" trope.

Armed with a bit of hope and a lot of desperation, Jen begins her journey to find her superpower.

@phil_tanner I like TaskMaster* AND David Mitchell**, so this sounds like an excellent something*** to add to my list

* In large quantities
** In somewhat smaller quantities
*** I'm much too busy to click links right now

@lotographia there's only 6 episodes, if that helps sway your position 😉
@phil_tanner @lotographia fwiw you had me at Taskmaster. Also fan of David Mitchell so I'm in.
@phil_tanner @lotographia "fan of David Mitchell" sounds daft. He'd be as embarrassed by it as I am in typing it.
But I do enjoy his stuff on the telly.
@phil_tanner Yep, we absolutely loved it. Had low expectations due to the overall reaction on the Internet.
@delphijunkie @phil_tanner
A lot of people really didn't like it, but I found it very enjoyable.
Weirdly enough, many of the (blokes) complaining about her chatting to the camera and breaking the 4th wall are also big fans of Deadpool.

@blueshiftnz @delphijunkie the breaking of the fourth wall bit was actually great. Wasn't sure of the total breaking in finale, but see why they did, and it tied in well with the other themes.

And yes. I can see why a lot of blokes wouldn't enjoy.... Especially the sort that listen to famous podcasters, or are fan bois of certain billionaires... The show firmly was not in their safe spaces...

@delphijunkie @phil_tanner I enjoyed it too. The breaking of the 4th wall was very much like the Sensational She Hulk comics from the late 80s/early 90s and seemed bang on to how it was done in that series
@phil_tanner we couldn't get into irreverent ...
@vivsternz oh, interesting. I think it took us a few episodes. But definitely enjoyed it
