If you are both in games media and game dev, then you shouldn't review your own games.
There is a conflict of interest there - I thought we all knew that.
If you name your own game as best game of the year, then that's sketchy as hell. And I don't care whether you're lead dev or assistant writer.
It's unprofessional! Don't do it!
