Worst case of déjà vu imaginable with these people.

Along with the outgoing Republican governor Doug Ducey who used $100 million of taxpayer money to perform another dumb stunt of stacking rusted out shipping containers along the Arizona border are dumb stunts like Lake’s.

At least the DOJ sued and that wall has to come down by January 3 but that also means that Arizona taxpayers will be gouged again for the multi-millions needed to remove this rusted trash that will also leave land destroyed.

Evidence-free court cases with demands to make the election loser the winner is fascism. I know MAGAs don’t understand that everyone loses under an authoritarian government except the dictator, but hopefully everyone else realizes that all of these GOP losers are unfit for any office.

Kari Lake loses her lawsuit. Now it's time for her to offer Arizona a gift

This being Christmas, it would seem a good time for Kari Lake to offer Arizona a gift. Lake should concede the governor's race.

The Arizona Republic

@TonyStark

I think many of them just see themselves as a voice of reason and are oblivious as to why they are not the popular majority.

@TonyStark

The MAGAs don't get it, they don't understand what these Christian Nationalists will do.

Yes, they'll hurt the lefties, but they'll also ban guns, take people's property and block internet porn.

@karlmorant @TonyStark they’ll also destroy public education in favor of small private religious schools, destroy Medicare, defund rural health, steal your grannies social security check…
@karlmorant @TonyStark They’ve tried this before. Listen to Rachael Maddox’s latest podcast series “Ultra”. It’s crazy.
@TonyStark It's pretty stunning that MAGA voters and really anyone who votes Republican now doesn't get that they're eroding their own rights.
@SteveRogers @TonyStark Theu get it, but if it owns the libs, they love it. Too stupid to know they self own too.
@TonyStark
Although this Arizonan is pleased by the rulings regarding Lake and the junkpile barrier, I shudder to think how long it will take for the area around the stacks of containers to recover ecologically (if it ever does). The Sonoran desert might LOOK like all is still and nothing is going on, but there's all manner of biological activity that is now degraded. Over centuries, that type of terrain takes on a thin crust of patina that is essential to the well-being of everything there, both biological and not. The damage might not look as dramatic as cutting down an ancient redwood, but the result is not dissimilar.
@TonyStark It's good to see the word "fascism" getting out there more these days. It seems the word has been taboo among moderates who relegated its use only to the extremes. However, with the extreme right becoming more and more popular these days, we need to let go of this taboo and get back to calling a duck a duck. Also helps to learn more about it; and yes, get it back into our conversations. I rarely hear it anywhere in the media these days.
@Gleng2 Demanding an overturn of election results is pretty damned extreme but that’s how fascists try and normalize the fascism. They keep pushing and pushing so their fascism seems normal. It is not.
@TonyStark True, and it's not about breaking the rules or even bending the truth; it's about destroying them completely. I always used to wonder how this could have happened in Nazi Germany, but now were actually watching it happen right before our eyes. It's chilling, making it more important now than ever for truth-minded people to step it up, and speak out against it. These are the voices that need to be amplified now; it's a major weapon against fascism.

@Gleng2 @TonyStark

Yes, the idea that we mustn't 'alienate' fascist voters was a dumb one from the very beginning and has produced some catastrophic outcomes.
