My spreadsheet of #COVID19 studies showing longer-term damage to the body has grown to 100 studies. Here's a link and a thread of some of the most interesting. The conclusion is that COVID can attack many parts of the body, remain present in the body, increase risks of serious cardiovascular, brain, lung and immune system disorders, and increase risk of death and disability. Stop taking it so lightly!

@augieray as someone who is on day 14 of COVID and still testing positive, this is just a tad depressing
@geth Well, on the one hand, most people seem to fully recover. On the other, I do worry that even the recovered may be left with impairments that could affect the rest of their lives. But, at this point, almost everyone has had it, so I think the goal we have to have is to ensure people get it as infrequently as possible. I hope you fully recover soon and avoid another infection, if possible.
@augieray yep! And I should say that I've always thought knowledge is power, so thank you. I wish I'd known this stuff 3 weeks ago, I would've isolated myself from my wife
@geth I hope she avoided it. (When my wife got it, I spent 10 days living, working, sleeping and eating in one room of our home.)
