Love these pictures of #ChloeHayden wearing noise-cancelling headphones on the red carpet at TikTok For You. It's a great image, and I hope that we see more like this.

Chloé Hayden on Instagram: "This week I had the honour of presenting at, and attending, TikTok’s For You fest. I was going to hide these photos in the back and post the proper, posed ‘professional pap pictures’ (which, don’t worry, they’re coming.) but these are more important. So, here’s me, on the carpet, decked out like a glittery little orange disco ball at the biggest social media awards show of the year. Wearing ear defenders. On the night, my sensory issues and sound sensitivity were both in full swing; the lights were intense, the room was intense, and in a room of smoke machines, fireworks, exuberant stage effects and a thousand excited people; there was a lot happening, a lot to take in, and a lot of people looking on. Originally, I told myself to “deal with it.” “Everyone else can.” “It’ll draw attention. People will ask questions.” But, then I remembered that I don't exist for the comfort of others. And I put on the damn headphones. And, in doing so, opened up a lot of wonderful, insightful, educational conversations. Put on the headphones."
