So today will be an exciting day for me, not just because it's Christmas. Today will be the first time the NBA and NFL have games on Christmas Day. Yes, football is king in the USA, but the NBA isn't too far behind. So here is my question: who will win in viewership?

Will the NFL reign supreme as always, or will the NBA surprise us all?

@slessans2 i love the nfl but football has insurmountable problems even though it doesn't seem that way - the inherent violence of the game with a decreasing tolerance for permanent injuries will eventually relegate the nfl to nascar / ufc status - not immediately but over the next couple of decades. The future isn't the NBA though. Not as long as it's advantageous to foul. MLB has most sustainable and improving model. Baseball is the past and the future #mlb #nba #nfl

@WarmthHighest @slessans2 afaik MLS is doing well lastly. And it’s a great potential right now, even though the ⚽️ is not a PRO league so far.

@WarmthHighest I don’t think the NFL is going anywhere over the next couple of decades. The game has never been more popular and it’s got a decade of billion dollar TV deals that will keep it atop the charts.
