Microsoft looks to be bringing tabs to the Notepad app on Windows 11

A leaked screenshot has revealed an internal version of Notepad with Tabs.

@windowscentral Oh good, I was hoping they would finally do that after tabs were added to the file explorer.

I hope they also allow unsaved files to be kept when the app is closed.

@Kage75 @windowscentral Remembering unsaved files would be a great addition. Text Edit on Macos does this and I find it extremely useful - I can just paste stuff into random Text Edit docs and just know it’s all kept, almost like a local Pastebin (although, yes, not the best or most efficient way to do that!).

@steamrunner @windowscentral

Yeah, the only reason I use Notepad is to jot down phone messages or to temporarily keep text copied from websites... things I don't want to keep forever, but I don't want to lose if I accidentally close the app.
