From Atlanta Community Press Collective on recent destruction of Weelaunee People's Park in Atlanta by Ryan Millsap of Blackhall Studios, which is currently facing a lawsuit over the land:
"Photos from Weelaunee People's Park shows that the gazebo and paved path have been destroyed. Broken up concrete blocks the path into the woods. The Gazebo and Path are essential infrastructure for access to nature. The destruction was carried out by workers claiming to work for Ryan Millsap, operating unmarked work vehicles and heavy machines without any known police presence. The land this destruction occurred on is not part of the land parceled for the proposed Cop City, but is part of the contested land swap between DeKalb County and Blackhall Studios, and is part of the same Weelaunee Forest. At a previous attempt to destroy the gazebo by Millsap, when questioned about their actions by onlookers, the operator of one of the machines replied "Why don't you just buy your own forest?"'
