@mothcub But it's true that the quote tweet adds a lot of toxicity. You can remove the context of a discussion and push that to your audience. The extra step deescalates a lot. We don't have to be slaves of engagement here too.

@Larsenc yeah idk being able to DM can also be used to bully someone but I don't think the existence of being able to talk to other people is bad. It's not being a "slave to engagement" to wanna talk about a post someone else made. Like I just wanna QRT fun stuff and a comment, and it's like. A normal thing to do. Like at some point you may as well say we just shouldn't have an app at all because harassment is possible on them.
