The #USCIS reintroduces public charge rules.

Quick memory refresh: The #Trump administration introduced form I-944 which green card applications needed to fill out. And applicants needed to file their complete financial status. All accounts, real estate ownership etc.

The #Biden administration trashed it - but it comes back.

The form I-485 "Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status" has a new edition from 12/23/2022 containing this.

The new #DHS #USCIS #PublicCharge #PublicChargeRules are on Pages 13 and 14 of form I-485 #I485.

It is essentially a stripped down version of the old #Trump-introduced form I-944 which the #Biden administration trashed in 2021.

They want to know now your annual household income and your debts (liabilities) as well as EVERY social benefit you ever received in the United States.
