The January 6th Committee’s conclusions about Pentagon involvement in the insurrection do not match with their own evidence.

Mike Flynn’s brother Charles “showed up” as the Defense Department was “going to get the authority” to deploy the National Guard but the response was “tepid.” Flynn “set up a video-conference bridge” and delayed the response by “three hours and 19 minutes.”

This was capital-T Treason.

Mind-boggling. The J6C Report says they “have no evidence the delay [to deploy NG] was intentional” which is plainly and directly refuted by head of the DC National Guard, Major General Walker, who called Charles Flynn and Walter Piatt “unmitigated liars.”

This delay was not only blatantly intentional, the cover up itself is proof of guilt. They all knew what was going to happen and did everything they could to help.

@jimstewartson Yes, this must have been a major dispute on the J6 committee & obviously Liz Cheney won the battle to focus on Trump as the eye of the storm. It’s a variation of the bad apple argument, usually used to protect those in power from accountability. In this case, Cheney is using it to rebuild the Republican Party by blaming Trump as the bad apple, as if the right had nothing to do with it except for their passivity. The Cheneys have a history with “bad apples”. #J6Report
