Politicians aren’t reinstating mandates because masks remind us we are in a pandemic, and they are afraid that people will consume less if they see more people wearing masks. I'm in Arkansas. We have among the lowest vax rates in the nation. My hospital, Dr. Office, etc. don't require or wear masks. At this point I think I have fallen into "let Darwin do his thing"
The rest of us just have to accept that 7Million people in this country voted for Trump. That means at least 5 Million of those are really stupid. You can't fix stupid.

True. But if you are the one who has been trapped in your house the last two years because others could not be considerate enough to wear a mask and get a free shot, Covid seems bad enough.
