DrArchivalGenomics 🐊🧬❤️For no particular reason I am sharing some of the cherished “gifts” I have found on the streets of San Francisco and New York over the years. 1) a lovely burnt orange LeCreuset pot found in a snow bank after a storm in NYC
2) a rather large and stylized plaster of Paris ram’s head found outside of the now defunct Ding Dong Lounge in Manhattan. I took it to the bar for drinks afterwards 🍸🥂🎄#VeryFestive #FediFest
3) a nearly frozen NYC plant that was in the garbage that came home as a toddler and is now a 6ft giant. #Cozy #FediFest
4) a painting found leaning against the garbage in San Francisco one rainy day. Turned out to be by Carl Philippe Weber. Someday I will find $$ to have it restored, but in the meantime it adds some golden glow to my #festiveseason #FediFest
5) a giant metal red letter “R” sign with traditional light bulbs that gives a #festive glow to our home. #FediFest #festiveseason
