More style explorations. Love the style that resulted from mixing these artists!

Prompt: 'Wreckage of the shadow, inspired by Hugh Kretschmer and Lyonel Feiniger and André Lhote, oil on canvas'

@WeavingWithAI Looks great! How do you come up with the artists you mix?
@BlueTurtleAI I've collected artists that I like or find interesting in a Google sheet. I've then added a function so that it randomly chooses 3 of them, together with a base prompt I've given it. I then choose among the random combinations it gives me. Like 'ok, this one sounds like an interesting mix, let's see what it will result in'

@WeavingWithAI

Cool style!

Question: Why use the term "inspired by" with "and" between artist name tokens instead of simply comma separating the artist names?

It gave me a similar result, but not *exactly* the same for some reason (even with --sameseed 1234 --v 3).

@kalebwyman it's v4. And I dunno, just like it that way. As for the phrasing of the prompt ... 🤷‍♂️

@WeavingWithAI
Good to know! 😅

I assumed you're using v4 (for best results) but...

--sameseed doesn't work in --v 4

..and I was trying to isolate the effect of prompt rephrasing without seed changes being a factor.

Your prompt inspired me to poke around Midjourney prompts, trying to better understand how it handles tokens and concatenation (compared to Stable Diffusion: where my own myopic focus has been for the past 4 months🔬).

Result: MJ is non-deterministic w/ seed numbers, unlike SD.🤯

@WeavingWithAI
Midjourney appears to use seed numbers only as a "suggestion".

Small changes still occur even when seed number is identical.
