@marcandsweep Hi there, I wanted to make JavaBubble a "MastoBubble" to collect journalists, gov etc accounts in a very similar way. So I wrote some code and restructured a bit. Are you interested in having this as upstream to yours oder do you prefer to make me fork further? Also, what license is your work published :-) https://github.com/grobmeier/javabubble/commits/master

@grobmeier I have no plans to extends the scope of my little javabubble.org project. It already escalated beyond my original intentions. Please feel free to use whatever is already there, I can add a permissive license to it.
@grobmeier My 2ct: I don't think it was a great idea/maintain to create a central repository. Who should be on the list, who's PR should be declined? I personally do not feel comfortable deciding this. Wouldn't be the whole idea of the fediverse to not have such central services any more? Would be nice if there was be a standard API for lists and everyone can decide which lists to federate/follow.
@marcandsweep I see it as a starting point. And in the case of journalism its easy: all accredited journalists can be on this list. Same for Gov accounts. But yes, ultimately a "phonebook" where people can collect other accounts into a "basket" and download that would be nice. That way a visitor can be more selective with their lists. But well, one by one, and having a list of official gov representatives would be nice already
