@Chldlktndncs The Raven's Wing took six years to write. It needed that time to mature. Fog took six weeks. Different tales, different needs.

@wombat37 I can come up with a ton of excellent ideas on the fly. But turning them into actual stories...? That's where my creative spark dies. It takes a gigantic effort and some mental wrangling for me to force myself to sit down and face a blank piece of paper, or finish that chapter I left halfway done 5 weeks earlier....

@wombat37 and always - ALWAYS - does the actual impulse to write only come when I'm supposed to be doing something else. Like now, as I'm preparing to leave for work.... 🤷🏻

@wombat37 well, let me know what you think of the chapter - good or bad, any input is greatly appreciated. Almost no one reads these stories since the fandom is minuscule (pretty much only consisting of a bunch of fans of Tom Ellis who played adult Steven)
