Additionally, you haven't verified yourself through the HTML method on other websites (including your own), and for The Intercept (which deals with technical means of information verification) this strikes me as highly suspicious.
Look, the folx at The Intercept know how to use SecureDrop and PGP. This is not too complicated for them.
One extremely likely reason this account may have not verified that it's associated with the website we know and love, though... is that it's not actually The Intercept's account here.
We're all still waiting on a good response why there hasn't been any attempt at verification (even a simple tweet would do)

@anggiar @theintercept yeah there was a fake Reuters account about a month ago that also was only posting Reuters stories.
Eventually that account disappeared, probably because the moderator of the instance realized it was an impersonator and got rid of it. I expect that will happen to this account soon.
