Does anyone have an article about how pricing your game affects it on steam?

I was mostly interested in if there was a relation to low prices and negative reviews proportion.

But also in the cost benefit of it, like if you won't gain more money by making it 5$ less.

@saishy Usually if you're a indie dev on #Steam, then #Valve should provide you with extensive data and recommendations in terms of #pricing...
@saishy only have anecdotal info, our game is like $12, many reviews note forgiving shortness and bugs because of the lower price point.

@Kells ohh, I've heard the opposite when lower prices attracts more consumers willing to negative review.

But I'm also guessing Calico must have a better player base than more generic games like shooters x_x

@saishy yeah calico players are legit the nicest ever. I wonder though if maybe it’s a bell curve, $12 is a mid price indie game, something like $5 might be seen as “cheap” idk
