#SanFrancisco has finally picked a new trash can đź—‘đźš®

#SF officials selected the “Slim Silhouette,” which they touted as durable, tamper-resistant and easy-to-clean.

The design was one of six trash receptacles publicly tested over the summer, and one of three that was custom designed.

The selection of the Slim Silhouette comes as S.F. struggles to keep its streets clean.

Oh, man... I can't wait for those ugly green things to be gone. I hope the new ones last.

@sfchronicle Tokyo has no trash cans on the sidewalks. People take their stuff with them. And they don’t eat while walking the streets. And yet we think America is superior. Coming back from another country it was obvious that Americans are filthy, lazy, and inconsiderate compared to many places.
