@alex_block on the plus side, I think it motivated a lot of cab services to have apps for hailing. As someone who lives in an area that isn’t regularly traveled by cabs, it’s nice to have a hail option that isn’t calling them
@PirateQueenKate oh, absolutely. It’s a genuinely useful adaptation. But it’s definitely not worth the billions of dollars they implied, and certainly not the kind of world-changing technology the rhetoric suggested.
