Brad JohnsonAlmost the only place on earth that is unusually cold at the moment is the North American interior. The Arctic (+5C) and Antarctic (+0.5C), Europe, Southeast Asia, Siberia are all hotter than the pre-GW baseline.

Attached: 3 images As much colder than average air spills into parts of North America, it's good to keep in mind that (1) the Northern Hemisphere is still well above the 1979 to 2000 average, (2) equally cold air is the average condition for parts of Siberia, Greenland, and northern Canada, and (3) this is what the interior, high elevation regions of Antarctica are like in summer! #Weather #Climate
