@douglasgresham i think the SNP/Greens have done the right thing here and it has taken some amount of guts to get the legislation through. Holyrood has often taken very limited steps in developing social policy but they have really stepped up here
@kennybrown131 Aye, true that. Rest of the UK is going to have to pin hopes on Labour, and Starmer isn't going to take a position before a GE to avoid focus being taken off the Tory shambles. Too much of a tactician. Although by the next GE we'll have seen that basic human decency hasn't ended the world north of the border, so there's some hope there
