Who wants to bet that "weird political defenses" were things like "that's a legal requirement in X countries".

Can't imagine why they wouldn't be excited about changing around everything after losing like 90% of their workforce that's actually capable of implementing large changes, and no desire to take on a FUCKING GIANT workload when there's basically nobody left with the knowledge to fix shit when Elon's rushed changes and demands inevitably cause shit to catch fire.

I can't decide which is better: watching Elon Musk setting giant piles of his own money on fire in an epic display of incompetence, or listening to conservatives trying to convince me that all of this is making me sad.
