mailed this pressed flower gameboy shell off today so it can go into a raffle for modders!

I think it came out okay but something about it isn't making me fall in love as much as my previous versions. I think I'm just not into the colors as much, personally.

The last few I did before this were all pinks and purples and those hit way harder for me

WAIT THIS IS A WHOLE NEW SOCIAL MEDIA

i have an excuse to brag about my darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i made these!!!!!!!

Also tHESE but I didn't make the shells, just built the final gameboy
AND THESE ALSO!!!!!
and these but they are forbidden knowledge please don't tell anyone
@TipsyDixit 🥲 they're beautiful.... I miss my sp

@sooperdooper THANK YOU

If you ever get the urge for a new SP, there are a lot of folks restoring and modding them nowadays to make the experience awesome!!! <3

@TipsyDixit I need to bring u my Gameboy SP but I probably will forget to do that for at least another year
@mageclass that's ok!! gives me time to practice more <333

@TipsyDixit oh my gosh i love this so so much!!!

how did you make this? resin?

@tarajdactyl OMG thank you so much!!

I am really bad at resin and I feel like I get really nervous about it adding too much bulk to the shell, so I use Mod Podge and then seal it with a lot of layers of clear coat!

@TipsyDixit i have heard the word "mod podge" like my whole life (like i remember that we had a jar of it when i was a kid) but somehow i never actually learned what it is or what it's good for! time to learn! your cases are all incredible!!!

@TipsyDixit (one Google later) so now i want to decoupage everything!

have you ever tried decoupaging 3D prints? does it work well?

@tarajdactyl OMG I HAVE NOT THAT'S A GENIUS IDEA

WE GOTTA DO IT

@tarajdactyl Thank you!!! <3 mod podge is just kind of like a very watery and thin-setting glue and sealer that can be applied to thin things without adding bulk or damaging them! it's really good for scrapbooking and anything reminiscent of it!!
