Any fellow #asthmatics have any advice? #Asthma wants to kill me.
Today I got the dreaded steroid shot. This time in my hip instead of my butt like last time. It's a huge needle and both hurt but the butt shot was worse. Then the doc told me to buy a nebulizer which I used for the first time. Right now I feel worse than when I woke up.
Last week I went to the doc & got Azithromax, Prednisone, & an albuterol inhaler. Barely took the edge off.

I've been doing well. It's been pretty wild. I found a biological sister I didn't know about, and a year later 4 other bio sisters and in turn found out the man I thought was my bio father wasn't

@inotpigeon which kinda jacked me up for awhile but the first sister is a therapist specialising in adoption related issues (she's adopted to) recommended a therapist and recommended a process called EMDR and it changed me so much for the better.

@ricksaunders sorry you didn’t find your father this time. Life is a strange and curious journey though, I’m sure at some point you’ll get to that particular destination. I just hope he doesn’t cause any more heartbreak when you finally do. Men can be a particularly disappointing species at the best of times! I’ve not heard of EMDR but really glad it’s working for you. It can’t have been an easy process to go through. Love and strength to you.

@inotpigeon Meanwhile, my wife Leslie's been promoted to Dean at the college we work at, Roscoe my oldest is a junior in college studying creative writing and Spanish, and Otis is a rock star who is getting rich selling vintage clothes online (gross 90s bro-wear mostly...so weird.) So we are all doing great!

@ricksaunders My girls are all grown up too. Tabatha has a senior position in a gaming company out in Stockholm and Evelyn is studying animation at uni on the south coast. I’m super proud of them both but miss them greatly. We’ll have a house full after Christmas though as they’re joining us for late Christmas and Hogmanay. I’m super excited!

@ricksaunders I have a hard time considering 90s wear ‘vintage’ 😭 The kids round here all dress in 90s garb it’s very strange indeed. I’ve been reliably informed 2000s fashion is also coming round again. Honestly, that was last week… right?!

@ricksaunders I’ve not had the best time of it lately either tbh. Excessive work pressure/ stress lead to me having the mother of all breakdowns last year. I’m still on the road to recovery but getting there slowly. Life’s a journey, this year was kinda a lame chapter but hey. It will only make the next chapter seem that much better!
