@thesiswhisperer Yet another crime of Morrison and Co. I sincerely hope Albanese will make amends, the NLA and the National Gallery (to name just two) have been left without funding for too long.

Libraries are inherently radical, social justice mechanisms staffed by humanist activists. It’s never an accident when they and the services they provide are under threat: “The National Library of Australia, the country’s repository of the published word, is facing a $13 million or 21 per cent cut to its operations budget from July 2023 when federal budget support for Trove ends.”
