Jon PorterMastodon’s vibes are good until I get hit with an error message like “Too Many Requests” when I try to toot and have absolutely no idea what to make of it

@jonporty you’re on a over-subscribed instance. A friend migrated off mastodon.social to another and no longer sees request errors.
@mingistech how’s toot.community working out for you? It feels hard to judge the value of different instances without first-hand knowledge
@jonporty I’ve personally never seen any error like that on here. There’s a handful of factors that could complicate these issues though. I’ve mainly been using the Mammoth beta and just switched to the Ivory alpha. Certain clients might better suppress such errors, right?
