Maybe time to admit that the UK has just been building homes for 100 years that are shit at *everything* aside from extracting rent from the poor.
YesCompSols@Polypompholyx a house designed to keep the heat in also keeps the heat out very effectively. However you need to close all the windows/curtains while the inside temperature less than outside temperature and nobody seems to understand this...
