@msbrumfield Someone like him needs to “come down to” our level of democracy. He’s used to being in a class so much higher than ours, where his preferential treatment is bought, not earned.

He probably legitimately doesn’t understand why people don’t like him. Would partially explain all of his rash decisions.he thinks money buys his way, because up until now it has.

This is a spot-on article with this criticism of the mainstream media:

“Musk’s actions are fully consistent with the worldview that dominates among far-right reactionary extremists. Yet, many observers seem reluctant to acknowledge that what is happening is exactly what it looks like.”

Prominent media figures are spending way too much time trying to determine what Musk ‘really’ thinks or what his brilliant, grand plan ‘really’ is, and so overlook his actual behaviour - which is telling us what he really is. It was the same with Trump.

There is no 5D chess going on in Musk’s mind, there is only greed and selfishness and sadism and lust and massive, massive ego: Look up the definition of a narcissist. It’ not unfair to say they are evil - they sure do a lot of it.

The only thing the article missed is that Twitter is a virtual town square and they can be rebuilt very quickly elsewhere - and better. We are doing that right here and now.
