Over 100 gins tasted now and luckily very few rejects so far.

Just tasted a superb one from Japan. Have received 10 Japanese gins so consider for my book. The tally so far stands at 6 yes, 1 maybe and 3 no.

(This is all provisional, mind you, until I've tasted through all the other possible contenders.)

@drinkswriter by all means, please tell us some faves so far! I’m kinda partial to the Terroir by St. George Spirits or Blue by Forthave Spirits

@deeb just Japanese, or favourites in general?

I really liked Komasa Hojicha Gin.

Mediterranean Gin by Léoube is fantastic, one of many strong French contenders.

Have had lots of good gins from Scotland, but Isle of Harris Gin is excellent.

@drinkswriter Thanks! I’ve yet to sample from that side of the Pacific so appreciate the Komasa rec!

@deeb if you want Japanese gins, check out Ki No Bi or Ki No Tea from the Kyoto Distillery, Nikka Coffey Gin, or 135° East Hyogō Gin.

Oh, and Rōku from Suntory also.

@drinkswriter Nikka I've had and agree! Thanks for such a great list of new things to try!
