Although my PhD dissertation is about Cuban-America, and I do care about my Cuban-American interviewees, the main point is not about Cuba-America, “but rather to assess and elaborate the theoretical foundation on which methodological approaches towards knowledge production about the relationship between past present and future can be built.” The work was always on #culturalmemory, #memorystudies, #interdisciplinarymethodology.
