Having listened to Steve Barclay slithering and lying his way through his #r4today interview, it’s completely staggering that there is *anyone* left in the country who would still rather blame their fellow citizens (or the trade unions who represent them) for the absolute state of this country and not the govt that has failed us on every single metric that it’s possible to measure. 12yrs of Tory rule and the country is broken. Let’s hold them fully responsible rather than those they’ve failed.
@13sarahmurphy Absolutely. That man is a disgrace. The sad tone suggesting 'we're so sorry the ambulance drivers have chosen to put the health of the public at risk' makes me want to do him some violence.
@Janmicham it’s so wearing having to listen to them lying and deflecting and knowing that’s all they’ll ever do because they don’t have the wit or the social conscience to do anything else.
@13sarahmurphy Wit and conscience are exactly what they lack – their qualifications for being in Cabinet are naked ambition and a disregard for collateral damage. I don't know how we're going to get through two more years of this.

@13sarahmurphy I know plenty of people who still cheer them on. The simple challenge I give them is to name a single thing that is better now than it was 12 years ago. A service that runs better. Something practical that they can do more easily. Something that has genuinely enhanced their day to day lives.

Obviously nobody can. Just "It would be worse under Labour" or "Got Brexit done" rhetoric.

@13sarahmurphy There is quite a mass of media and propaganda that distracts from and minimisises the Tory damage. Basic messages from the opposition parties aren't getting through.
@13sarahmurphy so tired of the never ending lies
@13sarahmurphy Glad to have found you on here.
@13sarahmurphy Well said - and brilliantly so - as always!
@13sarahmurphy
Well said. I fully support those striking. This Government cannot be trusted.

@13sarahmurphy Well past due for a change in thinking, people and party. The Tories have had their chance. Again and again.
