@Deressi nice choice. I usually go with NCR, though last time I played I had a mod that (within limitations of the ancient engine) gave the courier control of New Vegas if you went for an independent vegas.
@timelordiroh The mod you mentioned sounds interesting! Did it simply modify the ending or did it provide post-game stuff to do?
@Deressi it had postgame content. it was severally hampered by the game engine, but basically you didn't have to give up your guns at the casinos, you could collect profit from each casino, and there was a limited 'reopening the Lucky 38' side quest.
Unfortunately the mod dev got pissy with nexus mods way back in the day and took the mod offline and through various computers moves I no longer have the file (i cri evry time).
Plenty of interesting mods that are just no longer on Nexus, their file retaining policy saw to that
