In my opinion, the greatest challenge to civilization right now is not global warming, hunger or oppression, it’s psychopathic billionaires and chaos agents openly working to destroy society for their own power and profit.
This is an aggressive metastasis deep within the body politic wrapping its tentacles around our organs and strangling us from the inside.

That's really bad. There are a lot of connections between those two instances. That said, I switched from toad.social because he banned kolektiva.
I think individuals can override a ban on an individual follow level. Do you know if that's true?

I believe the personal idiosyncrasies of instance as owners will be problematic for several people.
I follow folks on a bunch of different instances. I don’t always agree with them, but it can be useful to see certain info from various people.
This is why it actually does matter what instance you’re on. Most may need to be on multiple to get the info they seek.
