Is there a word for the feeling of anxiety about using a rare resource in a video games, even though you know you'll gather more later? Bet German has a word for it.

I came up with "Hortverlustangst" - horde loss angst ....
Verlustangst is an extant german word, so I can't see any issue with Hortverlustangst :)

@PeteWharmby In Skyrim I ended up hoarding literally hundreds of potions. I just kept stashing them all over. "Better save that for later."

@PeteWharmby I just accidentally made 3 netherite chestplates instead of 1. Now I don't have enough netherite left to finish my armour set. So I know exactly what you mean.

@PeteWharmby Hi Pete, if you are on Android, you may find the Tusky Mastodon client for Android app more familiar than the Mastodon app. I have found the look and feel of Tusky is more similar to Twitter than Mastodon!
