After silence for hours after the poll, he's now saying only paying "Twitter Blue" subscribers should be able to vote in Twitter policy polls, and seems to be expressing interest in theories that bot armies controlled by his enemies skewed the poll vote against him staying CEO.

@lauren Well, that puts the kibosh on the popular theory that he wanted a “yes” vote as a pretext to bow to lender pressure.

I was kicking myself for believing he wanted a “no” vote as vindication… but I guess he did. And he’s more needy than tricky, maybe.
