The PVL' s frequency is hamstrung by its passing sidings along it (see: https://homesignalblog.wordpress.com/2022/11/26/stringlines/) but is nevertheless a corridor with immense potential to develop ridership & relieve the PABT. Good to see steps, even if small, towards realizing the corridor's promise.
Urban Jersey Guy@a320lga I was poking around the 2021 capital projects plans, nothing really for PVL on trying to improve service, though they do have some plans to increase schedule flexibility on the Gladstone with passing tracks.
@a320lga Also interesting how high level platform upgrades on the on NJT seem to cost the same no mater if its a one track or two track line. There was a fairly recent one on the coast line that was only 10 mil.
