I was just sent a copy of this glorious oral history of the San Diego Comic Convention, as it grew from a tiny comic con to the International Event it is now. Fascinating stuff from people who were there. Big thumbs up.

This method of interviewing is used to preserve the voices, memories and perspectives of people in history." The interviews are in this case transcribed to build a full picture of the growth and change of the con. People who can read and comprehend written words can then read it.
