@joeldrapper @solnic @davetron5000 it's OK to agree with the doctrine.

it was meant to be reviewed check from time to time, but, was it? When was the last time people read it, but for real?

I did a full close read the #railsDoctrine around Jan 2022 because I wanted to have a talk about it at #railsConf. Some points were simply unacceptable for today's me compared to 2018 me. At the end I didn't prepare that talk because I convinced myself it will be rejected SO fast.

@esparta @joeldrapper @solnic @davetron5000 As somebody who has been on the RailsConf program committee, I absolutely think a talk on the Rails doctrine could be accepted for RailsConf

@noelrap @joeldrapper @solnic @davetron5000 Hi Noel,

Yeap, I knew that after talking with other current and past committee members at #rubyConf2022

That's why (somehow?) I'm acknowledging my mistake when I mention "I convince myself". Sorry if the post was picturing another position or prone to have a different interpretation.

Maybe next year I'll be able to send that proposal which is currently on my head only.
