Lots of new Mastodon apps popping up lately, exiting times for this platform!
Still slowly working on mine, hoping to release a first test version before christmas.

I'm making good progress on my little Mastodon app, while I wait for Apple to approve the first uploaded version.
Also, the fact that Apple has to review an app for beta testing is absurd.

@mttvll I think you should make an option and let the users switch between the two.
Some might prefer larger previews and other not.

@mttvll Have you come up with an overall thesis of which usage patterns your entire design is intended to favor? Where's your sweet spot on the leisurely-browsing vs. fast-skimming spectrum?

Having a firm stance on that will also help you with a bunch of other decisions elsewhere in your UX. (Just punting to prefs reduces the odds of delivering a coherent, compelling experience.)

@mttvll I prefer the larger ones but I love apps that allow me to customize everything.
