It's worth noting that Insider's Linette Lopez and Fox Business correspondent Susan Li remain suspended on Twitter and it's both unclear precisely why or when their accounts might be restored.

It's also notable that Fox — which for years has billed itself as the anti-censorship network — is totally silent as its reporter is banished from Twitter, apparently for committing an act of reporting. Spokespeople for the network haven't replied to requests for comment.

@oliverdarcy Didn't think true reporting was encouraged at Fox. Susan obviously overstepped.
@dkxkee @oliverdarcy I was going to say they're clearly embarrassed that their employees got caught telling the truth.
@oliverdarcy @kithrup "You are banished for the willful commission of actual journalism! You are condemned to wear the scarlet J for the rest of your days!"
@dkxkee @oliverdarcy Fox News does have some actual reporting but you have to dig for it. They love to push their opinion shows front and center because that’s their bread and butter. Americans have become too tribal.
@oliverdarcy Well, Fox is bunch of hypocrites, that's a shocker ...
@oliverdarcy You should convince CNN to come here and make their own instance. It’s baffling why any journalist would be on that mess now.
@oliverdarcy Nazi Elmo is more important to the cause than Susan.

@oliverdarcy "Take away their accounts for a while. Then give them back to all but the worst rebels... tell the rest it was all a misunderstanding.

...remind the little twerps who's in charge. Make them dance like monkeys for me."

@oliverdarcy Considering Fox is the Right Wing propaganda network arm of the Murdoch Empire?

Not so surprising.

Musk is Rich, thus above consiquence to them.

@oliverdarcy not that you expect a lot of coherence from there.
@oliverdarcy
Not making a joke, but when I first saw this post, I read "Spokespeople" as "Snakespeople." At least I can console myself with, "Well, it is a Monday." 🐍
@oliverdarcy y’all making musk and Twitter every story, everyday has me convinced that for democracy to survive Twitter must die so journalists get dumped out of the safe, cocoon of an echo chamber you all exist in on Twitter and start doing journalism again.
@oliverdarcy extremely notable that it's two women that remain suspended,
@oliverdarcy A fool’s wrath falleth very heavy, because it falleth with all its weight, there being nothing to restrain and stop it: Prov. xxvii.
@oliverdarcy MSNBC is doing even worse, banning their *own* reporters for doing journalism
Neil Cavuto on Twitter

“Fox Business Correspondent Susan Li says to Neil: after a full day of reporting on these Twitter account suspensions, I found myself in the same and the same suspension permanently banned. And it hasn't been lifted as of yet this morning.”
