Welcome new users to the Fediverse!

I'm sure a lot of you joined for similar reasons recently and regardless of those reasons we're glad you're here.

One thing I'd like to point out is there's a misconceived idea of the Fediverse being a "free speech platform" which it is and isn't. It's made up of lots of individual servers that have their own rules so be sure to follow those rules of your server.

Some of those server rules might not jive with you so be sure to find a server that does. 🙂
