@edbott It's now becoming apparent that Musk didn't actually run these companies. Management assembled whole teams to run interference against EM's more irrational and hare-brained schemes, much as Trump's henchmen did. Musk's real talent lay in arbitraging regulatory agencies, playing to Congress, and clawing govt contracts.
@JoeChip@edbott Pardon me, but Elmo's image was known to be a fraud well before (esp. by anyone that's worked with/under him)... ...but all that was sadly drowned out / shouted down by social fanboi-ism, EV fanatics & ignorant armchair libertarians. ...Elmo thought he could control perception like a dictator, so he bought Twitter. š¢
@kurtsh Have you worked for him? Itās really lame that it seems like everyoneās focus is on Elon Musk and/or Twitter. Everyone who left Twitter and joined Mastodon did so because they were tired of him. Yet here we are wasting time and energy talking about both. Everyone needs to just move on, the market has provided an alternative so enjoy it. It kind of gives me the vibe of Reddit & Twitter had a baby and Mastodon was born.
@Nastyyy Mastodon empowers you to filter hashtags & keywords like "Elon Musk" or "# Twitter" for just this scenario. Here's a pointer to help you out... enjoy Mastodon! š https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moderating/

@kurtsh I understand that but that was not my point at all. I donāt have an issue. Iām just watching others have an issue(s). Itās just really silly.
